Charles Berkow Charles Berkow is a Policy Analyst at the Baltic Sea Centre at Stockholm University. His work there focusses primarily on fisheries policy. Before focusing on mining, then fisheries policy, in 2017 he had worked for over 3 decades as an environmental policy generalist. An economist by training, he served as environmental policy advisor in the Swedish Parliament and to the then Minister of climate and environment. He has also worked for environmental NGOs both on the national and European level.
